SAVINGS SCOOP

Financial Freedom Here I Come! Today I take control of my financial future. I promise to check my credit report by going to annualcreditreport.com for my FREE credit report from Equifax, Experian, and Transunion. I plan to find out my credit score by going to Fico Scores/Reports. I will go through all of my credit card and utilities statements to see exactly where all of my money is going. I will use mint.com the FREE personal finance software to manage my money and create a budget to achieve my financial goals. I will ask myself the question “do I really need that” every time I feel the urge to buy something I don’t need. I promise to spend paper money and save my spare change in a jar so I have additional savings stashed away. I will clip coupons out of the Sunday paper or find coupon deals online to save about 30% or more on my grocery bills. I will teach myself about personal finance by reading financial books, magazines, and exploring the internet. I will be inspired to save money by reading articles that motivates me on this journey towards the goal of taking control of my financial freedom. As I learn how to control my financial future I will share my knowledge with family, friends, and the community. I am committed to this until I reach my goal of FINANCIAL FREEDOM.
