The sizzling days of summer has arrived here are a few fun and free things to do with your family and friends.
- If you are lucky enough to live near the ocean or lake then pack up the family and sunscreen and head for the water. Make sure you bring a cooler filled with food, cold drinks, and snacks so you won’t spend too money on the boardwalk.
- For hours of entertainment for the kids; buy some balloons at the dollar store and break out the water sprinkler so they can cool off by running around and playing in the water.
- Get you favorite ice cream on sale and have an ice cream social in the backyard with the kids.
- Invite your friends over for a wine tasting. Have each person bring a bottle of wine and a dessert or appetizer, place each bottle of wine in a numbered paper bag, provide pencils and paper and have your friends rate the taste of each bottle.
- Even if you are not in the market; go to an open house and start looking for your dream home so when you are in the market to buy; you already have a head start on the type of home that you want.
- If you are hungry and want free food that tastes good; then head over to your local Costco, Sam’s or Grocery store where free samples of food is given out to people shopping. In most stores you don’t even have to buy anything just go sample!
