It’s Christmas, a magical time for some people, a difficult holiday for others, who has fallen on hard times because of the economy.
It’s a day when family and friends get together to exchange gifts, eat Christmas dinner, and reflect about the good and bad times of a year that’s quickly coming to a close.
For many people it’s just another day of the week, the “magic” of the holiday lost long ago, after being unemployed far longer than imagined, worrying about an uncertain future, while feeling emotionally and spiritually broken because things have not improved.
Where does one find joy this holiday season when all hope is lost?
Once upon a time, you believed with all your heart that things were going to get better, but as time slips away with no significant changes in your situation, so does the will to believe.
If this happens the one thing you cannot do is give up!
When you stop believing, you lose a sense of purpose within your spirit, the light that once shined brilliantly inside your soul is snuffed out; gone are your possibilities, hopes, dreams, goals, and desires for something better.
If you don’t believe in something, the world seems more black and white, and you walk around feeling numb. Because you’ve been stuck in your situation for so long, when something positive comes along, that helps improve your life, you probably wouldn’t recognize the opportunity because you stopped believing.
No matter what happens don’t give up; always believe in something, your belief will help you get through the easiest or the toughest challenges on the journey to your best life.

I agree! I get depressed sometimes, and life is rough, and sure, the economy sucks at times, but I’ve managed to turn my life around as of late, and really, anyone can. If they believe in themselves and go forth with absolute determination they can, anyways.
So when I find myself giving up, I take a break to rebalance myself, then get back in the game.
You are right,
I have to keep telling myself to believe that things are going to get better and it’s true, if you just hang in there, work hard, and don’t give up no matter what crosses your path…just believe, and sooner or later it’s going to get better.
thanks for your words of inspiration. :-)
