Savings Scoop July Monthly Recap

Savings Scoop Recap

Here we are again at the end of another month. It’s amazing how fast time is going by. I started this blog in March and I’m still hanging in there. For the month of July I’ve managed to learn about “Caring for your Health on a Budget” a topic which explores cheaper ways to get health and dental care.  Since it’s been so hot I’ve found a few ways to stay cool in spite of the heat. I wrote about “How to Deal with a Potential Layoff” and I discovered a few “Places to find Free Money”.  I know most of my posts are short, sweet, and to the point because I try to post a topic everyday.

Next month I am going to try something new and post three days a week; probably Monday, Wednesdays, and Fridays, so I can explore certain topics like the economy and jobs a little better; I never intended to discuss these topics when I started “Savings Scoop” but with so many people looking for alternative ways to make and save money because of not having a job I decided to include these topics.

I also want to focus more on coupon savings, and deals on things like groceries, clothes, books, and electronics which I will probably post under “This Just In.”

So far my journey to save money has been interesting. I have learned about many ways save my money and how to spend wisely. I now feel guilty if I impulsively buy something I don’t need and I find myself lecturing family and friends on spending wildly. I hope I have inspired at least one person to make a few changes about the way they spend and save money.

I’ll be taking the next few days off because I’m headed to a wedding out of town.

I’ll be back before the end of next week so I can continue blogging about this amazing journey of trying to find out different ways to save.
