As expensive as coffee is go to the store and buy a pack of coffee on sale and make your own coffee. Instead of going out to eat every weekend why don’t you and your friends take turns hosting dinner at each others houses for $40 or less.
Learn How to Budget:
It’s easier said than done; but if you create a budget and stick to it you will be able to save more money. Don’t go to places where you will be tempted to spend money; when you go shopping create a list and stick to it. Be more disciplined when it comes to your spending habits.
First, Pay Yourself:
Get a separate bank account where you set aside a couple of dollars every time you get paid, have the money transferred automatically so you won’t be tempted to spend it.
Lower Your Interest Rates:
If you are in debt try calling your credit card company and see if your interest rates lowered.
Green Should Be Your New Favorite Color:
Just by making a few changes in the way you live can save money. Use energy efficient light bulbs, turn off the lights when you leave a room, unplug electronics that drain energy like the computer or television, set your air conditioner at a low temperature and use ceiling fans to keep your place cool.
